I think it may be time to start getting rid of the girl clothes. When I’m done with finals and graduated I might post some pics and do a small give away if anyone’s interested. It’d be mostly T-shirts and maybe a couple hoodies that need to be dug out of my basement.
hey, just a reminder that holding suicide over someone’s head is emotional abuse. if you have someone who tells you that they’ll kill themselves if you leave them, if you stop talking to them, if you do something they do not want you to do, that is abuse- and you have every right to get out of that situation.
Choosing a name
My birth name is Arielle (pronounced with a hard R) and it’s often mispronounced as Ariel. I’ve heard sooooooo many Little Mermaid jokes it’s unbelievable. One day when I was still working retail I kept count and it was at least 10 and all by middle-aged dudes who thought they were being funny. Back in high school I picked the nickname Aries because I got tired of correcting people and it stuck. The irony is that the name Aries actually means “male” and I didn’t know what transgender was back then.Hey guys, I was wondering if you could share some stories about how you came to choose your name. I’ve been having a lot of trouble with it since I see it as a really important decision and commitment to make. I’d really enjoy reading other people’s experiences with this, and I’d like to add that I’m not seeking advice — just personal thoughts on the matter. Thanks :)
